2 lbs John's Farm Organic K-Bob Chunks
1 – petite cut tomatoes, drained or *tomato paste
3/4 C red wine
1 C beef broth (the more dense the better)
8 twigs fresh Thyme
½ large onion cut in rings or chunks
4 cloves garlic, crushed
Thaw K-Bob Chunks. Cover bottom of skillet with olive oil and heat to medium/high. Add beef, braze on all sides to seal in juices (about 2 minutes) When browned, lower heat, add garlic, and stir until garlic begins to soften (1-2 min). Place beef in crock pot. Add tomatoes, wine, and broth. Place thyme and onion on top of beef. Cook on low for 5 hours. Beef will be fork-tender. Spoon meat/sauce over pasta. Salt/pepper to taste. * For thick sauce use tomato paste or add 2T flour to petite cut tomatoes before adding to crock pot.
