THE SOURCE MATTERS
Have you ever wondered where something comes from or how it is obtained? A source can be a person, place, or thing and, if you are like me, knowing the origin matters.
Did a person or Ai create the picture, ad, or statement we see while scrolling through social media? What was the political intent behind the printed article? Is the noisy, chaotic background of the broadcast distracting from the facts? Where are the details supporting a medical claim? How can you know where food comes from and whether it meets your standards?
The source matters.
We are weary of fake news and erroneous claims creating mistrust and skepticism. We need reliable data and expert-backed evidence to build trusting relationships and informed decisions. The source is the foundation of trust and accountability in a society flooded with information and products.
The source matters.
Consumers deserve access to factual information behind the food they buy to be active, informed participants in choices that affect their lives. We value your right to separate truth from hype by knowing where your food comes from and the manner it was raised. We understand the power of choice because what we choose can affect personal health, environmental sustainability, and our local economy.
The source matters.
Source matters was the driving force behind having John’s Farm beef independently tested by Analytical Services at the Robert M. Kerr Food & Agricultural Products Center at Oklahoma State University. The results demonstrated an exceptionally favorable nutritional profile, including an Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio of 1.86 and a CLA level of 9.85. The report states, “The Omega ratio’s beneficial effects have been well documented and include anti-atherogenic, ant-thrombotic, anti-inflammatory effects and reduced risk of coronary heart disease. A National Academy of Sciences report has pointed out that “CLA is the only fatty acid shown unequivocally to inhibit carcinogenesis in experimental animals”.
