 Madison
Madison, our granddaughter, lives in Norman and makes frequent trips to the farm. She has boots, jeans, and a hat stored in Nana's closet for her farm adventures. If Papa has missed naming a calf, she names it. Marshmallow was her calf; she was displeased when Papa sold it. Madison awakens early for smiley-face pancakes and a chance to feed the cows and count the baby calves; she's successfully pet a couple of new bourns.
At mealtime, you can find Madison devouring Cattle Tracks beef and bragging about its taste to her Papa. She knows how to win his heart. At bedtime, you can find Madison snuggled close to her Nana for a bedtime story (or 4 or more).  For special times, Madison loves fishing with Nana and Gloss Mountain climbing with Papa, after the calves are fed, of course. Madison contributes to the family farm by helping with yard mowing, flower watering, and sprinkling probiotic on the calves' feed. During the harvest, you can find Madison playing in the wheat berries in the back of the grain truck. Madison takes show-and-tell items, such as rocks from the mountains, fish eggs from her catch, and pictures of baby calves to share with her friends at school. Madison, our city girl with a country heart, is the daughter of John III.
