Improved health has been reported from using probiotic; therefore, Aqua-Zyme Plus is fed daily to calves to insure each animal has a good supply of beneficial, live bacteria and enzymes. Cattle Tracks Organic beef has been tested at the laboratory on the OSU Campus, Robert Kerr Food and Agricultural Products Center, to determine CLA content and determine the Omega6 to Omega3 ratio. The following is a summary of the findings:
Our comments about the sample we analyzed (base on the chemical analysis) are very positive as reported from the sample test.1. The high level of CLA content (Cattle Tracks 9.85 mg/g lipid) is excellent (falls in the highest range reported in the literature).
2. The ratio of omega-6/omega-3 fatty acids (Cattle Tracks 1.86) is well below 4. Below 4 is recommended by nutritionist to be beneficial for human nutrition; the 0mega-3 has been documented as reducing the risk of coronary heart disease.
